Jose Mourinho tells Paul Pogba to forget price tag

Paul Pogba’s agent says the France worldwide chose to return to Manchester United rather than take the easier route at Real Madrid because of the challenge on offer at Old Trafford. The Red Devils paid £89 million for the services of the 23-year-old, eclipsing the £85.3 million Real Madrid paid to Tottenham Hotspur for Gareth Bale in 2013.

“In the Premier League we were playing with Wayne Rooney as a number 10, and we played with Schneiderlin in front of the back four (against Feyenoord) and we gave Pogba more freedom to occupy other kind of spaces”.

Since returning to the Premier League, the France global is yet to showcase his skills as to why he was re-signed by the 20-time English champions.

Failure to accomplish that has led many to question the Frenchman’s capability to adapt in England’s top tier.

Mino Raiola probably thinks the world revolves entirely around him right now.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, the Dutch agent insisted that it would take Pogba time to settle at Manchester United, but that he would dominate for the next decade. “He is United’s lost son”.

“They sent out a message with the transfers they did that this is the biggest club in the world”.

“For the player, Real Madrid would have been easier, La Liga, Champions League, but he wanted the greater challenge”.

“But I think today we were very good physically and they didn’t create a lot”.

“One thing I see though is that Mr Ferguson was made a Sir, maybe I too should be a “Sir” for bringing Paul back!”

Paul Pogba was screaming at his team-mates on the pitch and during half-time in Manchester United’s Europa League defeat to Feyenoord, Dirk Kuyt has claimed.

He looks determined to prove his critics wrong and it seems he is now feeling the pressure of performing as the world’s most expensive player.
