Clinton said in the live telephone interview with CNN that she started to feel hot at the event, which took place on a muggy day in NY.

Hillary Clinton tried to campaign through a bout of pneumonia, but she was sidelined by her doctor after getting dehydrated and dizzy while attending a 9/11 memorial in NY on Sunday.

The former president joked that the scandal surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server “was the biggest problem since the end of World War II”. In past years, the Clinton Foundation has spend little of its budget on actual charitable giving. James Brown’s famous song “I Feel Good” played as a musical answer on how her health is holding up. The former secretary of state cancelled three days of events this week after a medical episode on Sunday and revealing a recent pneumonia diagnosis.

“What we have to do when she’s president is we have to actually eliminate any aspect of conflict of interest – so all the global programs are spun off”, she said. “They waited so long – they released that email”.

“It’s a insane time we live in, you know, when people think there’s something unusual” about getting sick, he said.

Speaking in a state that he carried twice but polls suggest is surprisingly tight this year, Clinton framed the election as a choice between a candidate who’s served others her entire life and is offering solid policy proposals and one who is appealing to a sense of “road rage” in the country.

To this point, Clinton’s campaign has invested far more heavily in the state, where Trump has a golden-glass hotel bearing his name in Las Vegas. His schedule was packed with interviews and other events in NY ahead of next week’s last-ever meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative, a wing of the family’s philanthropy. Numerous voters in these places support Donald Trump now.

“Looking back I know I should have followed my doctors orders to rest, but my instinct was to push through it”, Clinton said at the Black Women’s Agenda forum.

Always the master orator, Bill Clinton contrasted his measured, positive remarks to his introductory speakers-including state Rep. Ed Gainey, U.S. Rep. Mike Doyle and Allegheny County Councilman Dewitt Walton-and to the emotionally charged rhetoric heard nationally.

He also noted the Republicans who have endorsed Hillary Clinton, believing she is the strongest candidate on national security.

“I just talked to her, she’s feeling great”, Clinton told the crowd.
