Apple says it will fix issue affecting Lightning headphone playback controls

There is no headphone jack in the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus; hence, Apple shipped the phones with a set of EarPods and a Lightning connector.

There have been a few reports of users experiencing the problem on the iPhone 6s as well, which means it could be caused by a glitch in iOS 10. Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus go on sale in October 7 in India with a starting price of Rs 60,000 for the iPhone 7, and Rs 72,000 for the Plus version.
