The Honda BR-V compact SUV concept which will be unveiled at the GIIAS 2015 tomorrow, has leaked out early.

Looks like the Japanese automaker is forcing an assault on the SUV segments, ticking the boxes in a another sector with its “new generation crossover utility vehicle”, that looks like a stretched version of the XR-V / HR-V.
“Honda started business in Indonesia in 1971, and the importance of this country for Honda’s auto business has been increasing year by year”, said Noriaki Abe, Chief Operating Officer for Regional Operation (Asia and Oceania) of Honda Motor Co. The details on BR-V are still scarce at the moment and it will have to wait until Honda fully unveils the BR-V.
The new images were released by the people over at AutoNetMagz that managed to take a few shots of what they report is the Honda BR-V before it could make its official debut.
The BR-V (which stands for Bold Runabout Vehicle) is a nod to Honda’s CR-V crossover utility vehicle, the second-most-popular Honda in the U.S. after the Accord sedan. The rough appearance is created by plastic cladding and the underbody protection, but don’t expect the BR-V to possess significant off-road skills.
Exterior features include high ground clearance, roof rails, LED taillights, and 16-inch aluminum wheels. The model also offers a comfortable and spacious cabin with seven seats in a three-row configuration.

For a market like India with a unique fuel preference, Honda would have to rely on the service of the Earth Dreams 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel engine that develops 100 PS and 200 Nm on the Amaze and City to challenge the leaders.
