Jaguar Land Rover India has launched the second generation Jaguar XF today. The XF is the first Jaguar auto in India to be equipped with the 2.0 L Ingenium diesel engine.

Along with the diesel, a 2.0 liter petrol engine will also be on offer.
The XF’s petrol engine has 4-cylinder offering 177 kW of power and responsiveness throughout the rev range, while improving efficiency. The XF will come with JLR’s aluminum architecture, which saves around 190kg over the previous generation XF. The sides remain simple while the tail lights feature a distinctive Jaguar F-TYPE-inspired double rounded and intersecting horizontal detail.
The new Jaguar XF is powered by the new Ingenium 2.0 l 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that delivers a power output of 132 kWand is upto 20 kg lighter than equivalent previous generation engines.
The new XF also gets the mood lighting with ten colour options. In order to give a cleaner and airy feel to the cabin, there are a minimal number of buttons inside. The new XF gets InControl Touch and InControl Touch Pro infotainment systems for the Pure and Portfolio variants.
2016 Jaguar XF Variants and PricesThe all new 2016 Jaguar XF is available in a total of five variants and with two engine options. The Meridian Sound Systems features a 380 W Sound System with 11 speakers, while the digital 825 W Surround Sound System has 17 speakers. The All Surface Progress Control Unique (ASPC) technology in the new XF helps the auto to cope with low-traction situations.
Detailed price list (ex-showroom, Delhi): 1. The price of the new Jaguar goes all the way up to Rs 61.85 lakh for the petrol powered Portfolio trim variant (ex-showroom Delhi). The company has opened the booking procedure for the new version of the sedan while deliveries are scheduled to begin at the end of September.

The company hopes that this online portal will help in expanding its market reach, which is now limited to just 23 dealerships across the country.
