Trump chips away at Clinton Minnesota advantage

Clinton, the former US senator for NY and former first lady, was seen unfavorably by 46 percent of voters in Tuesday’s poll. HuffPost/YouGov polling a year ago found that, for instance, Republicans were far more likely to support universal health care when the idea was attributed to Trump, while Democrats were more enthusiastic about the concept when it was attributed to Obama.

Almost 90 percent of Clinton and Trump voters said they are not likely to change their minds before the November 8 election.

He plans to vote for Clinton, the Democratic nominee.

Being sick is no laughing matter, but Jimmy Fallon managed to make light of Hillary Clinton’s recent bout with pneumonia when he greeted her on The Tonight Show on Monday, September 19. She took notes on what agitated him, particularly in his exchanges with rival Ted Cruz, and studied his style. Emails from the same time period show that her office had been asked about a lawsuit filed by NY against Trump University. Reid said the last thing the American people “want, or need, is a president who will run another financial scam on them”. “Americans will not cower”, Clinton said. “So don’t assume they have followed anything”.

The appearance marked Clinton’s third on the late night show. If Clinton is trying to reassemble Obama’s winning coalition, the youngest voters are proving to be her weakest spot.

She’s scheduled to meet with the leaders of Egypt, Ukraine and Japan later in the day in New York City.

Clinton has also spent considerable time reading briefing books about Trump’s policy, personality and politics, including receiving input from Tony Schwartz, who was the co-author for “Art of the Deal”, the best-seller about Trump. “In other words, I don’t believe the Clinton campaign was out there being malicious”.

“The rhetoric we’ve heard from Donald Trump has been seized on by terrorists, in particular ISIS”, she said, adding it plays into the hands of those “who are looking to make this into a war against Islam”.

Trump will not be the first unconventional opponent Clinton has faced in a debate. He incorrectly stated that Clinton supports “open borders”. Lazio’s freakish move was seen as bullying and rude and Clinton handily beat him by 12 points in November.

“Hillary Clinton and her campaign of 2008 started the birther controversy”.

Clinton’s performances have not been without missteps, however. A month ago, 72 percent NY voters saw him unfavorably. Bernie Sanders attacking her on the issue.

The Star Tribune’s Minnesota Poll indicates Clinton would receive 44 percent of the vote and Trump 38 percent if the election were held now.

In order to test the effects of Trump’s statement on public opinion about Obama’s birthplace, the HuffPost/YouGov poll divided survey respondents into two groups and asked each group slightly different questions.
