A note later found by police expressing hatred for police was found at the scene, suggesting Glenn was trying to target a police officer. “Clearly, there’s some issues that were going on there”, Ross told reporters.

The bystanders in the vehicle, a man and a woman, were both hospitalized before the woman in her 20s was pronounced dead, The Inquirer reported.
The suspect first opened fire at a police officer in a vehicle before shooting into a bar and then at a civilian auto, as Police Commissioner Richard Ross told reporters Saturday afternoon.
“It’s just one of those things that so surreal, you can’t get your brain around it- so many people harmed”, said Philadelphia Police Commissioner, Richard Ross.
The officer was able to duck for cover and radio in a description of the suspect.
Glenn subsequently died in a shootout with other responding officers.
Ross said Glenn had a 9mm Ruger and at least three magazines, as well as a plastic bag with 13-15 live rounds.
Police didn’t release the identities of others injured in the spree, pending notification of their families.
The officer said a suspect is in custody.
The 42-year-old manager and 41-year-old bartender at Maximum Level Lounge were attending to a wheelchair-bound patron and standing in the open doorway when Glenn fired about five rounds into the doorway, striking the manager in both legs and the woman in the right ankle. Young and the three civilians hit by gunfire are all in stable condition and “good spirits”, the commissioner said. One officer was cracking jokes with his kids and wife. The shooter was killed during the gun fight, Ross said.
