Three days after being released from the team’s suspended list, the veteran safety re-signed with the Broncos, KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis reported Tuesday. Our two young safeties have done a good job for us.

Keo appeared in five games with Denver last season, recording five tackles, defending a pass and recording an interception.
After releasing him from their Suspended List on Saturday, the Denver Broncos have made a decision to re-sign safety Shiloh Keo.
To make room for Keo, the Broncos waived nose tackle Kyle Peko. The undrafted rookie was a nice surprise this preseason for the Broncos, but he was inactive for the first two games. There’s a decent chance the Broncos will try to re-sign Peko to their practice squad. The Broncos cut Keo on Saturday before he was eligible to return after serving a two-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
A 2011 fifth-round pick of the Texans, Keo has yo-yoed on and off the Broncos’ roster over the previous year. Not only on the back end, but in the special teams area Simmons and Parks are doing a good job.
But with Keo’s suspension now ending, he will be available for the Broncos going forward.
Plus, Darian Stewart is awesome but he plays the game with such reckless abandon that it’s easy for him to get banged up. Keo provides depth and experience.
Plus, the injury to linebacker DeMarcus Ware could mean fewer special teams snaps for outside linebacker Shaq Barrett, and Keo is an aggressive special teamer.
Who knows, maybe Keo hit up Wade Phillips on Twitter again.

Keo, 28, played in the final four regular-season games and two more in the postseason. He missed one game a year ago, due to injury. He recovered an onside kick to seal the Broncos’ 20-18 victory against New England in the AFC Championship Game.
