The federal criminal trial of John Bills, the former managing deputy commissioner at the Department of Transportation, is now set for January 11, 2016.
Finley, of Arizona, led Redflex from 2005 until February 2013.
Redflex spokesman Tilden Katz released a statement noting that Finley was replaced at the company more than two years ago.
Redflex ended up paying personal expenses for the Chicago official which included airline tickets, rooms at the Biltmore Hotel and “other entertainment”.
In a plea deal, the 55-year-old pleded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.
Federal Prosecutors contend Karen Finley funneled cash and other financial benefits to a City of Chicago official and his friend, knowing that the payments would help persuade the city to award red-light camera contracts to Redflex. She faced 12 counts of fraud and four counts of bribery in an indictment filed a year ago.
