Erika Burch posted pictures on Facebook showing a father in a Walmart in Cleveland, Texas dragging his daughter around by her hair.

Erika Burch, was shopping when she spotted the man, who she says, had the child’s hair “wrapped around the buggy” as he dragged her down the aisles.
An investigation has since been launched in conjunction with the Child Protective Services.
Harrowing images of a man apparently dragging his young daughter by the hair through a Texas Walmart are being circulated around the internet as one concerned mother has spoken out. She says a sergeant told her the man couldn’t be arrested because the girl didn’t have any physical bruises or missing hair. “She’s saying ‘Please stop, I won’t do it again.’ She’s saying it slow like she knows not to say it loud, because she’s going to get in trouble”.
“I have three little girls of my own”, Burch said Tuesday.
A couple alerted police after they heard the little girl crying “Please stop”. I feel awful for that poor baby girl.
We checked with Cleveland police and they said they are investigating.
“No matter what a child does, you never pull them by their hair”, Luis Z. wrote.
Authorities are reportedly investigating the incident as child endangerment, according to the New York Daily News.
“While I do not agree with his methods I’m not judging him either”.
She also added in the post that the sergeant told her for it to be “abuse there had to be bodily injury to the child”.

No charges have been filed.
