Team meeting focused Rams on Seahawks
The Los Angeles Rams have won their first game since 1994. He scored all the points for the Rams in an emotional battle on a hot Sunday afternoon. Coach Jeff Fisher’s horizontal offense continues to come up short, perhaps its time the Rams start looking downfield in an attempt to gain some offensive momentum. Running backThomas Rawls is trying to find his form after returning from last season’s broken ankle.

Not many pro sports franchises would choose their first game in a new hometown to wear vintage uniforms, but the Rams aren’t the normal new kids on any block.
The offense played well against a proud Seattle defense. So we have some work to do.
The Seahawks offense, which underwhelmed all game, looked to be in position to pull off a comeback win in the final seconds when it got to the Rams’ 45-yard line with just under a minute left.
Hours after their loss to the LA Rams, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson promised things will only get better. Los Angeles plays away from the Coliseum for four of its next five games, including a “home” game against the New York Giants on a cricket ground in England. “You can’t ask for anything any better”. We have some guys that are a little bit banged up, we’re going to see how that goes. “But at the end of the day, we had to put it behind us because the game was over”. To beat a tough opponent like this, no matter where it’s at, no matter how they’re feeling, no matter how we’re feeling, we have to figure out a way to win. Quarterback Case Keenum made sure to take it all in as he made his way out of the tunnel and onto the field.
Giants 13, Saints 10: In East Rutherford, New Jersey, Eli Manning hit Victor Cruz on a third-down 34-yard pass to set up Josh Brown’s winning 23-yard field goal as time expired.
Seattle tied the score on a 23-yard field goal by Steven Hauschka 15 seconds into the second quarter. The Rams host Buffalo on October 9 – and then don’t play at the Coliseum again until November 6.
Zuerlein got the Rams on the board in the first quarter with a 39-yard field goal.
“It’s about us going back to the drawing board and moving forward”, Seattle defensive end Michael Bennett said. They frustrated a hobbled Russell Wilson and swarmed Thomas Rawls and Christine Michael in the backfield for negative yardage. The Seahawks managed just 14 yards on 14 carries, while the Rams had 23 yards on seven rushes.
The Seattle Seahawks know how to put the “loss” in Los Angeles, as T.J. Simers might say.
Rams offensive coordinator Rob Boras’ unit ranks last in total points (9), total yards per game (234) and third-down percentage (22.2). “The Rams are back in town”.
Patriots 31, Dolphins 24: In Foxborough, Massachusetts, Jimmy Garoppolo had three, first-half touchdown passes before leaving in the second quarter with a right shoulder injury.
The game also represented as a homecoming for Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, who coached his first contest in the Coliseum since he left the University of Southern California in 2009 for Seattle.
“We should be in pretty good shape and we should be able to get back to how we want to, and Germain is really close to getting back”, Carroll said. “I think we have to come around and just be more complete”.

“They did a nice job again”, Carroll said. As Wilson extends a play, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse and Tyler Lockett have shown a knack at finding the open pockets that develop and giving Wilson options downfield once defenses break down. He must be averaging 5 yards a carry or something.
