Russia Releases Video Of Syrian Aid Convoy But Denies Bombing
Speaking on the delivery of humanitarian aid to Syria, Lavrov said that the Russian Federation and US-backed plan included the creation of a demilitarized zone around the Castello Road near Aleppo.

Syrian rebels and pro-government forces have been battling each other near Aleppo and Hama, hours after Russian Federation released drone footage which it said showed a militant weapon accompanying an aid convoy that was subsequently attacked.
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitoring group said at least 13 people were killed in the attack, including nine militants, some of them belonging to the Fatah al-Sham Front.

The truce came into effect on 12 September in order to create a safe corridor for aid into war-torn Aleppo, where numerous inhabitants are said to be in dire need.
The strike follows a Monday night airstrike on a Syrian Arab Red Crescent aid convoy that prompted worldwide condemnation and recrimination over attacks targeting humanitarian facilities and workers.

Monday’s attack prompted the United Nations to suspend all aid convoys in Syria.
Rebels, locked in a vicious civil war with the Syrian government, reportedly hold the area where the convoy was struck. Wednesday’s latest violence included an airstrike in the north that killed five medical staff, according to a relief organization.
Moscow has said neither Russian nor Syrian planes were involved in the bombing.
Russian Federation has waged a yearlong air campaign in Syria that has shored up President Bashar Assad and allowed his troops to seize some key ground.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said the Admiral Kuznetsov, carrying dozens of military aircraft, would be sent to the eastern Mediterranean to join other Russian ships off the war-torn country’s coast, state news agencies reported.
Syrian government forces also launched a major advance in Hama province in the West of the country.
The Paris-based Union of Medical Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM) said the strike appeared to be targeted.
In another development on Tuesday, the Syrian military bombed the terrorist groups’ supply routes in south of Aleppo and advanced toward Khan Touman.

Later, at the White House, Ben Rhodes, Deputy National Security Advisor said “All of our information indicates clearly that this was an air strike”.
