Vidya Balan ‘recovering well’ from dengue
Mumbai: Actress Vidya Balan, who has been diagnosed with dengue, says she has been resting at home and is recovering well. Incidentally, her neighbour, Shahid Kapoor has been served notice by Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) for not taking any action against breeding mosquitos inside his apartment. Though no mosquito-breeding ground was found at Ms Balan’s house, three were found in the building. A still from movie Kismet Connection starring Vidya and Shahid.

Vidya Balan got diagnosed with dengue fever on Friday.
The BMC’s insecticide department, during a surveillance drive, reportedly found a breeding site for aedes aegypti mosquitos inside Shahid’s swimming pool, which had not been used for a while. During the heavy monsoon, the pool had collected rain water which became the breeding ground for the larvae. And guess who BMC is holding responsible for it?
Reacting to the same, the spokesperson of the actor added that Shahid Kapoor is thankful for the inspection since he wasn’t aware of the breeding grounds.
BMC has also conducted searches in residences of other Bollywood stars such as Salman Khan, Wahida Rehman and Amitabh Bachchan but nothing was found.
