Britain backed global condemnation of the strike, which came hours after Syria – a main suspect alongside Russian Federation – ended a week-old ceasefire. White House spokesperson Ben Rhodes said on Tuesday that United States coalition jets were not in operation around Aleppo, adding, “In any event, we hold the Russian goverment responsible”.
