Jolie, 41, filed for divorce Monday, citing irreconcilable differences and stating that she and Pitt, 52, have been separated since last Thursday.

Photographers and news crews have gathered outside their mansion in California amid claims Brad is “furious” Angelina has “unleashed hell” for their family.

Since the reports broke, the Hollywood couple have been plagued by a number of rumours surrounding the real reason behind their shock split, with Jolie’s dad’s comments only adding to the dramz. In the movies, though, their surface beauty was only a mask for the rot and boredom underneath. In “Mr. & Mrs. Smith”, they are actually trying to kill each other after all.

The New York Post led with an image of Brad Pitt’s ex wife, Jennifer Aniston, hysterically laughing on its front page. She was previously married to Billy Bob Thornton and Johnny Lee Miller. We may not know Jen personally but something tells us she is doing just fine.

But a source tells PEOPLE Pitt will not likely accept sole custody, as “sole custody for either of them doesn’t seem like what’s best for the children”.

Johnny Depp-Amber Heard: Amber Heard filed for divorce from Depp in May this year.

They had been together for more than a decade and share six children: Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight.

The pair adopted children from Cambodia, Vietnam and Ethiopia.

Perhaps the most surprised was Pitt’s good friend, George Clooney, who heard of the news during a taped interview.
