But in that match I was exhausted before the final.

By comparison, Britain have been champions on many more occasions – they have won 10 titles, though there was an uncommonly long wait between the ninth and 10th titles with that 79-year stretch from 1936 to 2015.
GB captain Leon Smith opted to name both Edmund and fellow singles player Dan Evans in his four-man team ahead of Dom Inglot.
In addition, Del Potro will also return to the court, as he’ll partner Mayer, rather than Delbonis.
Tennis Channel and Tennis Channel Plus will provide complete live coverage from both Davis Cup semifinals this weekend, including the battle between reigning Davis Cup champion Britain and Argentina in Glasgow, Scotland.
Del Potro appeared to have all of the momentum heading into the deciding set – and despite a gallant effort from Murray, it was the imposing Argentine who ultimately triumphed.
The world number two is renowned for his passion even in straightforward matches and ironically it was going a break down that proved the catalyst for the brothers to turn things around.
The devil is in the details, however, and a couple of inch-imperfect misses by Del Potro surrendered the advantage nearly immediately.
Great Britain broke back in the next game before a return victor from Andy made it 2-1.
A moment of controversy turned the third set on its head.
Murray produced another stunning lob which sparked a memorable comeback to take the set on a tie break.
After splitting the first two sets, Murray was able to edge a third set tie break following a series of prolonged and exhausting rallies from the baseline.
Of course, it does not end there for the British no. 1.
In the other match today, on-form Kyle Edmund takes on Guido Pella, who is ranked No 49 – six places above Edmund.
“For me, to play with my brother in front of a Scottish crowd it is quite emotional”, a teary-eyed Jamie Murray said. “In end I played good forehands and good serves and that was key”. Once Del Potro had decided he wanted to play doubles, who on earth was going to block him from taking to this indoor hard court?
An 8,000-strong crowd will hope to roar Great Britain to victory, as they did in last year’s ties in Glasgow against the United States of America and Australia.
The Murray brothers started the doubles contest well, crushing Del Potro and Mayer 6-1 in the first set.
“It was a great atmosphere”, he said.
“Our ambition was to get into the World Group, and it is great we did that”, Nadal said. Jamie played unbelievably well.
Out of the game for almost two years and forced to undergo three wrist operations, Del Potro was close to retiring but instead has made himself a force once again. “I think we did really well, we had our chances but we couldn’t win”.
Murray rallied and pulled into a 2-1 lead as the match ticked past three hours.

“I saw my physio this morning and he checked some of the things he checks if I’m not feeling great or if I’m exhausted, and he said I was looking decent”.
