Guardiola has however offered a way back for the Ivory Coast midfielder, insisting that his agent apologises for statements he has made against him and the club.

But now Guardiola has revealed there is more to it, with the Spaniard angered by the latest of Seluk’s frequent comments to the press.
“He must apologize to his team-mates, to the club”.
Seluk said his client, who has featured just once in eight games this season and is out of contract next summer, had been humiliated by Guardiola’s decision.
“But the day after [the Champions League squad announcement], his manager [agent] went to the media”. He (Toure) has not had the courage to call me. “From that moment he was out”. That rubbed Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, the wrong way, and things have gone downhill from there. I live in a democratic country and I can say what I want. Pellegrini was a gentleman. Now Guardiola says Toure won’t play until he apologizes. “It is not normal and it is not right to come to England and to get rid of the few English players”.
“If Pep Guardiola wants a war, then he can have one”, Seluk told the Daily Mirror in response to Guardiola’s odd request.
Guardiola previously coached Toure at Barcelona, and sold him to City.
City’s 100 per cent start under Guardiola means the Premier League favourites are top of the table after just five games.
“I can not imagine in my period when I was a football player (at Barcelona), my (agent) going to the media and speaking against (former Barca coach) Johan Cruyff, about this and about that, ” Guardiola said. “If he loves me, show me and make apologies to Manchester City what he did with the journalists”. Guardiola won’t tell me what I say and what I won’t say. “Yaya is a player who has made history for Manchester City”.
The midfielder’s club future remains in doubt at City, with the two-time Premier League champion yet to feature in the top flight under new coach Pep Guardiola so far this season.
