Actress Mia Farrow’s son Thaddeus has died, PEOPLE confirms.
Mia Farrow adopted Thaddeus while he was living in an orphanage in India where he contracted polio but his health had improved and he was able to get around with leg braces, the New York Post reports in a 2000 story.
In a November 2013 profile of his mother, Vanity Fair reported that Thaddeus was a vehicle mechanic studying to become a police officer.
Thaddeus was a paraplegic and polio survivor. “The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first”. He pushed the button which started a countdown to the time for a polio-free world in 2005.
He had nine other siblings, including journalist Ronan Farrow, who is a journalist. The adoption came after Farrow’s relationship to Woody Allen ended.

According to TMZ, Thaddeus Farrow passed away on Wednesday at Danbury Hospital in CT. There is no foul play suspected, according to the report from CT state police obtained by ET.
