There has been no reported illnesses related to these ice cream products.
The recall includes more than 1,900 cases of ice cream shipped to Brenham, Texas and Sylacaugua, Ala. plants.
The latest recall comes a year and half after Blue Bell was rocked by a listeria outbreak that saw the company pull its product from shelves across the country.
Today’s release says the recall covers half-gallons along with pint sizes of chocolate chip cookie dough and cookie two-step flavors.
Blue Bell says customers will get a full refund.
Blue Bell products that are affected by the possible contamination will be stamped with code dates 082618226, 080418222, 081818224, 081518242 or 082418242.
Consumers who have these products should discard or return to place of purchase for recall. The disease primarily affects pregnant women and their newborns, older adults, and people with immune systems weakened by cancer, cancer treatments, or other serious conditions. This recall is being conducted in cooperation with the FDA.
