500000 Note7 replacements now in U.S. for exchange — Samsung
In an interview with MobileSyrup, Brannen stated, “Samsung’s first priority is to fulfill devices for customers who have registered for the Canadian Product Exchange”. New Note 7 phones will be available as soon as possible but Samsung is still asking people to exchange recalled devices already.

AT&T, meanwhile, texted customers on Tuesday, confirming in-store availability of the new Note 7.
A new Note7 will receive a software update that displays a green battery indicator to differentiate it from a recalled model, according to Samsung.
However, it seems like the wait has finally come to an end for Samsung users in the U.S., as the smartphone giant has officially dispatched new Galaxy Note 7 units which have already been made available for sale by major cellular carriers including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
Samsung is selling “new” versions of its Galaxy Note 7, just three weeks after a worldwide recall following multiple reports of fires and explosions causing injuries and damage to property. The Note7 is available on the online store for Verizon and Sprint right now.
This story, “Samsung has shipped 500,000 replacement Note 7 units to the U.S.” was originally published by Greenbot.
Sprint does not mention anything about the recalled Galaxy Note 7 models on its listing. We noted earlier that such icon will not be Android compatible but for this particular issue, Google made an exception and allowed Samsung to do so.

The software will also be pushed out to users who have a Galaxy Note7 device that was sold from August 19, 2016 through to September 1, 2016. Although the Galaxy Note7 has not been released in Nigeria, the current Galaxy Note7 users are kindly advised to visit the nearest Samsung Authorized Service Centre for immediate assistance about replacement program.
