‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Are The Houseguests Having Doubts About Evicting
The latest episode of Season 17 had plenty of drama (it seems like everybody is teaming up to take down Vanessa), humor (Otev!) and violence (Liz’s mud mask extraction, Meg’s face-plant). Tune in tonight at 9 p.m.to CBS Detroit to see whether Becky or John will avoid being evicted and who will be crowned the new HOH!

Vanessa tries to smooth things over with Johnny Mac but he just wants to nap and let the entire house know that she is his sworn enemy.
Meg, Austin and Steve are picked to play.
It’s Otev the Rocking Roll, which means the HGs must retrieve names of evicted HGs from a bunch of food and bring them back up the ramp. Becky sees Austin’s pile and she steals the pile running Austin over in the process.
Going into the POV competition, John realizes he needs to throw the competition to gain some loyalty towards Liz. Steve offers to put on some clothes, dry off, and play some chess with her. Liz comes out and Vanessa says that Austin is not talking to her anymore and the three of you are so tight and she feels lost now. Austin and Liz make it to the final two.
John tells Steve he must win the veto or he’s going home. He says that he has not come up to talk with them nor has he talked game with them. Steve mentions this competition is like musical chairs and it sort of is because after each round one person would be eliminated. They shouldn’t trust him…he will come after them.
Meanwhile, Vanessa had the same train of thought and strategized with her (supposed) allies to get out John instead. Becky is out third after stealing a pile from Austin and then Meg is out next. Johnny is 100% down to not win the veto. As it is, we’re left with the evidence that Becky went into a backdoor protocol with guns blazing, assuming that the house had her back, only to find herself all alone staring down a counterattacking army. She’s literally acting the exact same way with Austin that Audrey was with Clay. The next morning Liz has a hickey and Julia is mortified, threatening to attack Austin with a bat if he does it again. Liz tells her that keeping John is better for her game. This makes Liz less trusting of Vanessa since she is always in game mode. Will one of them win Power of Veto? Liz decided to choose the later and kept her nominations the same. But Liz surprised me-and so did Vanessa.
It is time for the Power of Veto Ceremony.
Austin complains to the twins about the death stare incident, and how he never talks game with them and could have easily asked them for a deal.
But even Liz admitted she wasn’t sure which cast member was really her target.

Becky points out that her sister, her, and Austin sat comfortably on the couch when she was HOH and she hopes that they return the favor and use the veto on her. John hopes that he is not sitting in the nomination chair on Thursday facing Julie Chen.
