The woman said in the call released by authorities Wednesday that she had been tied up in the house in Ashland in OH but partly freed herself to make the call while the man was asleep. An unidentified woman who reported being held captive was rescued from the Ashland house on Tuesday.

Jane Doe managed to call 911, and when police responded they found the bodies of the other women. At this point, police have only identified Stacey Stanley as one of the three deceased victims.

Police said Grate confessed to killing a third woman and led them to her body.

Grate is being held in the Ashland County on a charge of abduction and could face additional charges.

Ashland Police Department and Ohio BCI execute a search warrant on a home, September 13, 2016, in Ashland, Ohio. Investigators discovered two dead bodies in the home at 323 Covert Court in Ashland. The woman told police she’d been abducted and the man who had done it was sleeping just feet away.

“I’ve been abducted”, the woman said in the call, begging, “Please hurry”. She called 9-1-1 about 6:30 a.m.

After police responded Tuesday and took Grate into custody, he told officers he was involved in another woman’s murder in another part of the county near Ashland, prosecuting attorney for Richland County Bambi Couch Page said.

Authorities have not yet identified the two other bodies.

Mr Grate, who’s homeless, has a long criminal record and served time in prison on a burglary charge beginning in 1997. On Tuesday, investigators checked it and found a body in a wooded ravine behind that house, which was destroyed by fire. According to the family, Stanley called her brother that night saying she had a flat tire but was on her way home.
