San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen left in the first half of Sunday’s game at Kansas City with a knee injury that could possibly end his season.

Allen immediately grabbed for his right knee after falling to the turf while trying to make a cut in the middle of the Arrowhead Stadium field late in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
Smith also entered the game 1-13 as a Chief when his defense gives up 24 or more points, and 3-41 all time. “The guy’s an extremely talented player”.
“We knew we would have some learning to do with it being our first full game together”. He had to be carted off the field.
Ware picked up the start in absence of All-Pro running back Jamaal Charles.

A lot of emotion there at the end of the game to come back the way we did. In a sign of the growing confidence the Chiefs have in Smith to run the show, he checked out of a play and into the run at the line of scrimmage. He’s always positive, always trying to see what he can do.
