The biggest announcement of this year, the introduction of the latest OS from Apple -iOS 10 finally goes live alongside two new OS – watchOS 3 and tvOS 10.

The bug was only around for a short while, affecting only a few eager early adopters before Apple squashed it, but fear of bricking is enough to give anyone pause, especially considering how long and annoying software updates can already be. On top of being able to delete default apps, you can learn about what else you’ll be getting from iOS 10 by clicking here.

It was reported that the smartphones or iPads were shutting down to install the software after downloading the iOS 10 update. Other improvements include a smarter version of Siri that can tap into third-party apps and a fresh look for Apple Music.

The iMessage app will also get a huge overhaul to become more interactive and media-heavy, so you can do things like send animated wallpapers and draw images.

Notifications will show more information on the lock screen, potentially removing the need to open them to find out more. The company claims it only affected a “small number of users” in the first hour that iOS 10 was available. However, this is compatible only with the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus and SE.

These are all native iOS apps and up until iOS 10, users could not remove any of them – not even partially. This feature is only available to iPhones running on iOS 10.
