Aguero: I want to lift Champions League before leaving City
However, reports have emerged suggesting Aguero will extend his deal by a year and remain with City until at least 2020.

Aguero’s second hat-trick in the competition already this season and an injury-time goal from his replacement Kelechi Iheanacho saw City ease to the win.
“I am not the right person to know if it’s definitely going to happen. The schedule is the schedule, when you are in a big club you have to get used to playing every three days, it’s a good mentality”.
“The first half perhaps I wasn’t so happy, I lost a lot of balls but the second half was a bit better”, Aguero said in quotes reported by the Independent.
It is said that the deal was actually struck in principle as far back as January, even before new manager Pep Guardiola breathed new life into the squad and the club as a whole.
Manchester City summer signing Ilkay Gundogan is in line for his first taste of Premier League football as his rampant side seek to maintain their flawless start on Saturday at home to Bournemouth. “If they’ve learned quick, it’s because of the quality of the players”.
“It’s only September and we can’t forget that”. There’s a long time to go. Every game we can be better, every game there is a chance to improve. “It doesn’t matter if I’m at 70, 80 or 100 per cent when the team needs me I try to push myself to the limit and play my best football”. And I’m going to feel that tomorrow [Saturday]. “It will be a hard game though, we’re going to have to be at the very top of our game and they may have to have a day where they don’t perform so well, if those two things happen then we have a chance”. We played really good, but there are other teams that are more candidates – Barcelona, Madrid or Bayern are the type of teams that are always there.
City’s “antipathy towards Uefa stems from sanctions taken against the club when they breached financial fair play rules. but Guardiola effectively told his supporters to get over it”, he adds.
And he warned that Bournemouth are a risky opponent and has been impressed by what he has seen of them this season. “He is one of the managers who has helped me most in my career”.
