Kaepernick Says He’s Received Death Threats
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick said on Tuesday that he has received death threats regarding his actions during the playing of the USA national anthem. And it’ll be loud and clear to everyone why it happened. He said someone carrying out their against him would propel the movement he supports in a forward direction.

“I don’t want this to happen, but that’s the [reality] of what could happen”.
“I want to make sure that not only am I transparent about what I’m doing but these organisations are transparent about where the money is going as well”, he said.
E-Poll found that Kaepernick tops the list of most disliked players at 29 percent. Other players have followed suit, but he remains the most high-profile protester in the NFL. Kaepernick originally remained seated on the bench, but modified that so that people didn’t think he was protesting the military.
Since then, United States women’s soccer star Megan Rapinoe has joined in the protest and Kaepernick’s 49ers teammates Antoine Bethea, Eli Harold, Jaquiski Tartt and Rashard Robinson also took to raising their fists as the anthem played before Sunday’s match against the Carolina Panthers.
On Sunday, four more 49ers players – linebacker Eli Harold, cornerback Rashard Robinson and safeties Antoine Bethea and Jaquiski Tartt – joined in and raised their right fists before their game against the Carolina Panthers.
Kaepernick has pledged to give $1 million to different organizations, and told reporters on Tuesday he will give $100,000 per month for 10 months and a website will track which organizations his donations go to.
“With what’s going on, I’d rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered”, Lynch said. “It’s not something I haven’t thought about”, Kaepernick continued.
“There’s a lot of racism disguised as patriotism in this country”. He also admitted that some people have taken his protest so seriously that they have made threats to his life. Kaepernick said they simply went about their business and even tried to cover up the crime.
As an example he cited the police shooting of an unarmed black man in Tulsa, Oklahoma, last week.
As he approaches the window, one officer fires a stun gun, while another fatally shoots him.

“They shot and killed a man and walked around like it wasn’t a human being”, Kapernick said. Some people even have two.
