The actor’s beloved granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, 33 – whom he brought on his arm to several red-carpet events, including the 2005 Oscars – was slain at the hands of her drug-crazed boyfriend Sunday morning, police sources said.

Davenport was then transferred from the psych ward of Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital to Bellevue, where he is likely to be arraigned in the next couple of days, the sources said.

Meanwhile, neighbour George Hudacko says he was awoken by the sounds of “grunting and moaning” and noticed E’Dena lying on the floor outside.

“He was kneeling over her and screaming about ‘God has arisen”, he stated.

Mr Davenport stays at a medical facility in New York, the place he’ll reportedly bear psychological analysis.

The boyfriend of Morgan Freeman’s granddaughter was ordered held without bail Wednesday as prosecutors revealed the doomed young actress was stabbed 15 times. She performed a receptionist in “5 Flights Up“, a film launched earlier this yr which Mr Freeman starred in alongside Diane Keaton.

“Her family and friends have been lucky sufficient to have recognized what she meant as an individual”, the assertion reads.
