Word Puzzle is that latest Xbox One Backward Compatible title
Asked by a Twitter follower why more blockbuster Xbox 360 releases like Call of Duty and the LEGO games hadn’t been made backwards compatible on Xbox One, Spencer replied: “Just the order things come out of testing”. Burnout Paradise was originally launched on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 over eight years ago, though it’s clear the love hasn’t fizzled out after all this time.

Phil Spencer, Microsoft’s Xbox division head has announced that an array of Xbox games will now be available with backward compatibility.
Criterion, the game developer behind Burnout Paradise, on the other hand, is already working on the game to become playable on the latest-generation console.
Looking closely on how the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility evolved, July seemed to be one of its biggest months, when it featured the “Red Dead Redemption” as the newest title.
The “Xbox One Backwards Compatibility” list keeps growing, despite the inconsistencies in releasing new titles.
Backward Compatibility on Xbox One is one of the most requested considerations that fans have put out there for the Xbox engineering team to work on.
Some of the games that are confirmed for the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility list include “Skate 3”, “BioShock”, “Bioshock 2” and “BioShock Infinite”.
Someday in the not-so-distant future we may hear that the 109,989 Xbox Backward Compatibility top vote earning “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” is in the catalog. Although “Word Puzzle” received 203 votes under the Backward Compatibility Program, its announcement moves us one step closer to seeing larger titles.
