Today’s numbers give Clinton her largest margin since August 31, when a Fox News poll gave her a 6-point edge.

Bloomberg Politics reporter Jennifer Epstein asked Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton during a press conference Monday whether she believed the previous weekend’s terrorist attacks in NY and Jersey were a plot- possibly carried out by the Russians- to get her Republican opponent Donald Trump more votes. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson gained 13 percent in the poll and now has 29 percent of millennials. “Put a different way, of these battleground states, Hillary can win just one (Florida, Ohio or North Carolina) and win the presidency, which means the six additional states would only add more electoral votes to her total”, Mook argued.
Clinton’s plan for the poor: Clinton has a New York Times op-ed on Thursday in which she discusses how she would aid poor Americans.
On the Democratic side, Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of state continued to bother voters; 64 percent expressed concern about the issue.
Both candidates have obtained consistently high negative ratings among this segment of the population, as just 36% view Trump favourably, and only 42% view Clinton favourably.
“The notion that Donald Trump can carry 30 percent of the vote in Brooklyn and Manhattan seems a little bit unrealistic”, Greenberg said.
That does not mean Johnson is likely to become a viable candidate, either in NY or elsewhere. Greenberg said the debate could potentially be a game-changer for the race, but he said Clinton is in an “extraordinarily strong position” to win NY in November. They’re about even on the question of who would be better for the middle class.

The two candidates couldn’t be more different – and the opinion polls have have swung wildly between neck-and-neck and 6 points difference.
