PM’s Bihar package delivery on earlier promise: Minister
The BJP today attacked opposition parties over their comments on the Rs 1.25 lakh crore special package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the state, accusing them of being “unhappy” with it and maintaining “double standards” in their criticism. Kejriwal said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will not field candidates in Bihar.

He also compared the past assistance given by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee NDA government and UPA government and told the Chief Minister that he should properly take note of his package announcement, “kaan theek rakh kar sun lijiye” said.
The prime minister said the projects being launched today would transform the face of Bihar in the days to come.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Bihar and announced a development package worth Rs 1,25,000 crore, in addition to Rs 40,000 crore worth of ongoing projects.
Singling out Kumar, the BJP leader accused him of using the demand for special status for the last two-three years as just a slogan for politics. Addressing a gathering of his constituents at Amethi, Gandhi said that Modi’s National Democratic Alliance government wanted to grab farmers’ lands through the amended Land Acquisition Bill.
Kumar retaliated by saying that demanding special category status, which entitles more funds, is warranted. Kejriwal is locked in a routine power tussle with the Centre which, he says is “disrupting” his functioning through the office of Delhi Lieutenant-Governor Najib Jung. Referring to Poorvanchalis and people from Bihar living in Delhi, Mr Kejriwal praised their contribution to the development of the nation’s capital. Bihar is endowed with rich natural resources, fertile land and talented people, a combination of which can make it the most developed State. “If the Prime Minister helps us in getting admission in Railways, it might increase our employment”, said Sashidev Singh, a local attending the rally.
“The CM has said Bihar is not BIMARU anymore”. And then Delhi expressed its mood and now they are trying in Bihar.
“During Delhi polls, they had said that the gotra of Kejriwal is problematic”. This was followed by the entire Agrawal community, which otherwise votes for the BJP, turning against Bihar. “The Centre’s intent is to provide skills to crores of youth so that they work to create a vibrant, emerging India which will be respected globally”, he said.

Kumar, on his part, said: “Delhi, what you have done is absolutely right”.
