Manchester City thrashes Bournemouth for fifth straight win in EPL
Kevin De Bruyne has earned high praise from manager Pep Guardiola after leading Manchester City to an emphatic 4-0 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League on Saturday.

After watching his Manchester City side continue their ideal start to the season by beating Bournemouth 4-0 on Saturday he was asked if the Blues can go on to win all four competitions. No-one else is allowed, but the table beside, Kevin can sit there.
Cherries boss Howe said when Bournemouth came up to the Premier League last season that his team would continue playing with the footballing philosophy he believes in, which in many ways is similar to Guardiola’s.
I’m happy because people will be so proud when the famous players run without the ball.
“Without the ball he is the first fighter and with the ball he’s clear”. He sees absolutely everything.
“He’s there, making every decision, calling all the shots and getting a great performance out of them”, he added. I am lucky and we are lucky to have him. Hopefully he can enjoy with us to play his awesome football.
The Belgian was at the centre of all City’s most exquisite moves, and his interplay with Kelechi Iheanacho, Raheem Sterling and Ilkay Gundogan, who all got on the scoresheet, left Bournemouth paralysed.
For those wanting to know if Manchester City’s ideal start to the season will last, here are some dates.
MANCHESTER CITY (4-1-4-1): Bravo 7; Sagna 7, Otamendi 7 (Stones 52, 7), Kolarov 8, Clichy 7; Fernandinho 8; Sterling 8, DE BRUYNE 9 (Garcia 75), Gundogan 8 (Sane 72), Nolito 6; Iheanacho 8.
“That is not going to happen when I am here”, he said. “[On Friday night] I saw two fantastic opponents and I know how hard it will be, absolutely everything”. We want to see Jack in their half and in the final third but we didn’t get there enough so to see his best qualities was impossible today. We played like a small team without the ball.

“I thought they were a level above us, but I feel we could have done a lot better”. He’s had one or two weeks’ training with us and every day is much better.
