George H.W. Bush to Vote for Hillary Clinton
A Facebook post from Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend said that she saw the 92-year-old Republican Monday, at which point she was told he was going to vote for Clinton, the Democratic nominee, several media outlets reported.

Bush’s spokesman is neither confirming nor denying the report.
When asked about the matter by online daily Politico, Townsend said that she had met with the elder Bush in ME and the former vice president for Republican icon Ronald Reagan had told her that he was fully aware that he was intending to back a Democrat.
“President Bush said he’s voting for Hillary”.
Politico spoke with Townsend, who said she met with the former president in ME and he made his presidential preference known.
Both George Sr. and George W. Bush have declined to endorse Trump but have refrained from publicly throwing their hat in for anyone else.
Hartington then confirmed the revelation again on Monday by telling the political site, “That’s what he said”. None of them attended the Republican National Convention in July.
The Bush family hasn’t exactly hidden its discomfort – and, in some cases, outright disdain – for Donald Trump.
Jeb!, presumably the Texas Republican dynasty’s first choice, dropped out of the race in February after a contentious primary run against Trump. Instead, he will cast a vote for Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton. The former president and his son supported every single Republican candidate in the last five presidential races.
Despite his ignorance about issues and poor character, Trump is waging a competitive campaign against Clinton with support from right wing extremists, white supremacists, and frustrated middle class voters still reeling from the 2008 economic crisis and post-911 fear.

Former President H.W. Bush, who lost to Clinton’s spouse, former President Bill Clinton, during the 1992 election, has kept his views towards Trump private throughout 2016.
