The Wayne County Medical Examiner’s office hasn’t released the causes of death.
Michigan Department of Corrections spokesman Chris Gautz stated to media that Green was denied parole four times before being released in 2008. Green was arrested when officers arrived.
Neighbor Ronnie Jones, after viewing a Michigan Department of Corrections mugshot of Green, identified him as the father who lived in the home on Hipp Street where the killings occurred.
Dearborn officials are set Thursday to detail what they described as “several significant arrests” tied to recent crimes.
The alleged kinslayer was waiting for cops outside the Dearborn Heights home shortly after making the 911 call at around 1:20 a.m. Wednesday, WXYZ-TV reported.
Green was shot and stabbed. She recently filed for divorce.
Court records obtained via AP show Faith Green filed for divorce in August, citing a ‘breakdown in the marriage relationship.’ They were married in 2010.
Police administered CPR before they were taken to hospital, but did not survive, according to Dearborn Heights police Lt. Michael Krause. “How could he do something like this, to kill four kids who were just beginning their lives?” She had asked for a personal protection order that same year but it was turned down by a judge.
Sources said the man’s 4-year-old girl and 6-year-old girl were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning in a vehicle and their bodies were later moved inside the home.
Krause said officers found the man on the porch and took him into custody. A man is in custody after his two children were asphyxiated, his wifes two older children were fatally shot and his wife was shot and slashed at their suburban Detroit home, police said Wednesday.
WDIV reported that two teens – a 17-year-old girl and 19-year-old boy – were fatally shot in the basement.
MI police are investigating a quadruple homicide involving a man who allegedly killed two of his kids, two of his stepchildren and shot their biological mother, injuring her.
“It stemmed from a domestic violence type situation”, Police Captain Michael Petri said.
Police said they are still investigating the crimes.

The two younger siblings appear to be the biological children of the suspect, police said, and the other two were the mans stepchildren.
