Creepy or weepy: Pic of Diana at Charlotte christening goes viral
A fake photo of the late Princess Diana standing next to the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton has gone viral.

It is not clear where the photoshopped snap originated, but it was originally posted on Facebook by Mary Kohnke, from Wisconsin.
Indeed, he and Kate chose “Diana” as one of Princess Charlotte’s middle names, the church for Princess Charlotte’s service at Sandringham was where Diana was baptised in 1961, and even the choice of godparents was telling.
An image showing Princess Diana photoshopped into a picture of Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge holding Princess Charlotte at Charlotte’s christening in July is going viral. “What a great job at photoshopping…”
Ms Eastwood, who says she creates “Diana photo blends every Sunday in her memory”, merged the photograph with another taken of the then Princess of Wales meeting Mother Teresa in 1997.
It seems to show Diana leaning over to gaze lovingly at her new granddaughter, who is reaching up to her mother’s face.
Alex Bradshaw agreed, saying: “One of the best pictures on the internet today”.
The original image of Diana bending down with her hands clasped together was taken in August 1997 – just two months before her tragic death in a auto crash in Paris.

The photo – which fans have called “beautiful” and “wonderful” in the comments section – has been shared more than 268,000 times on Facebook and gained more than 31,330 likes.
