The Indiana University football team dismissed freshman Kiante Enis after he was arrested Thursday on two counts of child molestation in Randolph County.

“Indiana Football has dismissed freshman Kiante Enis from the program effective immediately”.

In a released statement, the Randolph County sheriff’s department said that investigators interviewed Enis after being made aware of his possible relationship with a “child 13 years or younger”.

Child molesting is a Level 3 felony carrying up to 16 years in prison, the Muncie Star-Press reported.

Enis has not played in Indiana’s first two games.
