The long-awaited announcement from the Green Bay Packers came Thursday, as team officials unveiled plans for the Titletown District.

The development will include a 150-room hotel developed by the Kohler Co., a Hinterland brewery and restaurant and a Bellin Health sports medicine clinic.

Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy calls it an “exciting day for the Packers”.

Murphy says he sees the Titletown District as an economic driver for the Green Bay area. “It’s a place that is walkable”.

The Steelers sport a different type of running game than the Patriots, so Sunday’s game could be a particularly valuable test for Green Bay’s run defense after a solid outing last week. Not to leave out the locals, there are also a number of two story townhouses.

The public space will include, nearest South Ridge Road on the east, a grassy area designed for events and festivals. There would be an ice-skating rink in the winter.

Policy added “Titletown District” is expected to be completed “just prior to the 2017 football season”. “That being said, the most prominent aspect of our relationship with the Packers has been our shared desire to elevate the health and wellness of the community”.

The Packers tapped Brown County sales taxes to finance a refurbishment of Lambeau Field. He said the team experienced record numbers of visitors in June and July.

Aubinger said keeping a neighborhood feel is a priority.

“The Green Bay Packers have formed a community”.

“We want to have all kinds of industry but if you don’t have the people to fill the jobs”, Aubinger said. All of their land is in the village of Ashwaubenon.

The Packers will invest approximately $65 million in Titletown, with a cumulative initial investment by all parties to be between $120-130 million. Along with that, three of the Packers defenders returned to practice Thursday after being out with injuries yesterday. Each is a premium Wisconsin name, Policy said. The hotel will have a panoramic bar and restaurant, an indoor/outdoor pool, a spa and fitness facility and an outdoor area with a tented event space. It will have limited event and meeting space, instead using Lambeau Field for those services.

Plumbing and hospitality company Kohler plans to build a high-end hotel in the Titletown District. “It’s an excellent place to start”.

Curly Lambeau was a man of vision, but he couldn’t possibly have seen this coming. The team is adding two high-end board rooms with a view of the 50-foot Lombardi Trophy replica to enhance its meeting offerings. “The public plaza, with its size and location near Lambeau Field, will be a draw that is unique in our area and a wonderful public space for our community”.

The Titletown district has been in the planning stages for years as the team bought up land. “I mean this time last year I wasn’t playing”. Seasonal and limited release options vary in availability allowing for the company to continue to offer new craft beer experiences.

“I think the partners are great partners for sure”, Tressler said.

Bellin Health’s sports medicine clinic will be more convenient for Dr. Patrick McKenzie, the Packers’ medical director, and the players he treats, but it also will be available to the public.

“The proximity of this location to the team’s facilities certainly heightens the level of convenience for Dr. McKenzie and the players needing injury evaluation and treatment”, said George Kerwin, Bellin Health president and CEO. It will include lab, x-ray and MRI, along with sports nutrition and sports psychology services.
