Having Gronkowski sidelined was not the most overwhelming thing for the New England Patriots. They are 2-0 thus far but are now on to their third string quarterback. So, the Patriots turn to Jacoby Brissett, a rookie from North Carolina State.

Brissett completed six of nine passes in the Patriots’ 31-24 victory over the Dolphins, and it looks as though the third-round draft pick will be required to keep New England’s flawless 2-0 start to the season intact.
When asked about the possibility of Edelman playing QB, Bill Belichick, for his part, had a typical answer. He’s got good physical talent. When Brissett entered the game, the Patriots were at the Dolphins 21 after advancing 31 yards in five plays. “I had to get the job done”.

Assuming the Patriots start all of their possessions at their own 25 because of touchbacks and or/fair catches, this is not a hard task for Brissett to advance 30 yards. He could get some action, as a key dump-off figure for Brissett.
The Patriots defense couldn’t stop anyone on the Dolphins on Sunday, so they will need a major bounceback effort to stop an offense with plenty of weapons for quarterback Brock Osweiler.
With that being said, there is a staggering amount of evidence suggesting that it’s foolish to bet against New England when they’re home underdogs.
For Week 4 Texas will receive the Titans on October 2nd. Staying healthy in four consecutive games is a task that Garoppolo may be unable to complete. So let’s go over this week’s worst-case scenarios … Brady will be back in a couple of weeks, not to mention that this is a short week and a new quarterback coming in can’t adjust that quickly.
The Houston rush could prove to be too much for Garoppolo also but, he is more experienced and was playing pretty well against comparably aggressive and talented D-lines in Arizona and Miami.
