Apple has introduced its latest iPhone 7 that features a souped-up camera and a new headphone jack. Still not totally clear is just how Apple will decide who gets priority for the new iPhone among those who are upgrading, those new to the program and those buying a phone outright. While the price of the iPhone 7 starts at $649, the iPhone 7 Plus hits stores at $749.

New colours: In addition to rose gold, gold, and silver, the iPhone will now also come in a simple matte black. Some, like the 32GB Black iPhone 7, say September 26 – 28.
The company has launched an adapter called Lightning Audio + Charge RockStar for the iPhone 7.
As hard as they tried, the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus were just incremental improvements over the past two year’s models. This could very well be one of the reasons why Apple shipped just 800,000 smartphones in India in the second quarter of 2016 when it shipped 1.2 million handsets same quarter a year ago, according to Strategy Analytics.
The company has also announced the wireless AirPods – slightly odd looking Bluetooth earphones that will be available for £159/$159 in late October (interesting exchange rate that’s been used there). Many mocked Apple’s idea of calling AirPods an act of courage.
Water and dust resistance: The iPhone will finally be water resistant with an IP67 rating. This year will be the first time Apple won’t unveil that closely watched number. This should not be a surprise to most of the people but it does potentially make you think another time about buying the Jet Black version. The “Series 2” Apple Watch also will offer Global Positioning System and a better processor and will be available in a special Nike-branded edition.

When Apple announced its Watch Series 2 on Wednesday, it said that the watch would come in a new ceramic white finish to complement the returning aluminum and stainless steel finishes.
