Pakistan is run by ‘warmachine’ that glorifies terrorists

The minister expressed his reservations over a statement by Nawaz Sharif which called Hizbul Mujahideen militant Burhan Wani who was killed by the Indian Army in July a “leader”.

Referring to the continued brutalities of Indian forces in Kashmir, the spokesman called upon the UN Secretary-General, UN Human Rights Commissioner and worldwide community to take measures to stop bloodshed in Occupied Kashmir.

Sharif also blamed India for imposing “unacceptable preconditions” for potential peace talks over Kashmir to end the 27-year-long conflict between the two nuclear-armed rivals.

Sharif in his speech at the United Nations said, “Kashmiris want freedom from India”. Recent statement of Indian Prime Minister was yet another proof of Indian involvement in terrorism and terror financing in Pakistan aimed at destabilizing the country.

To a question about the ongoing exercise of the Pakistan Air Force, the spokesman said it was a routine matter and added that the entire nation stood along with its armed forces to defend its motherland at all costs.

India also summoned the Pakistan envoy Abdul Basit on Wednesday to appraise him of the findings on the terrorists who are thought to have crossed over from Pakistan. When practiced as an instrument of state policy it is a war crime. “They are essential to resolve our differences, especially the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, and to avert the danger of any escalation”, he said it with conviction.

September 22 (ANI): Cutting across party lines, the Shiv Sena and Congress on Thursday criticised Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for his “ridiculous and frivolous” statement glorifying slain Hizbul Mujahideeen commander Burhan Wani and said that the hostile neighbour was doing nothing but making a mockery of itself.

India said the attack had been masterminded by Pakistan, which denied the allegations.

This comes after India earlier in the day said the “onus” is now on Pakistan to act against terror groups. On the contrary, virtually every statement has referred to terrorism as the main threat to worldwide peace and security, a fact that Pakistan still remains in denial of.

“Talks are in the interests of both countries. We can not and will not allow terrorism to prevail”, said Eenam Gambhir, First Secretary, Permanent Mission of India to the UN.

At least 78 civilians have been killed and thousands wounded in more than two months of clashes between protesters and Indian security forces there.
