Voters said their biggest concern with the candidates was Trump’s comments and language about women, immigrants, and Muslims, with 54 percent citing that.
Trump led in the two previous polls – by one percent in the Fox News Poll, and by 5 percent in the LA Times/USC poll.
“Something that hasn’t happened would have to happen” for Trump to win, McInturff told The Wall Street Journal.
Over in Colorado, Trump ties Hillary Clinton in a two-way race at 47 percent apiece.
“Both major party nominees are just not trusted and they’re not liked”.
Trump said that police “are afraid to do anything” to stop attacks like the bombing in NY.
Trump supporters pointed to changes in two key battleground states.
Clinton was considered more knowledgable and experienced by 60 percent to 23 percent, and having the right temperament to be president by 56 percent to 23 percent. Trump and his allies spent Sunday – repeatedly and falsely – accusing Clinton of pushing the idea that President Barack Obama was not born in the US – a conspiracy theory long championed by Trump himself. However, Trump has drawn almost even with Clinton this month as she has had a bout with pneumonia and relatively restrained behavior on the trail for Trump’s standards.

Blaming national insecurity on the Obama Administration’s immigration policies, Trump mentioned his proposal of “extreme vetting” of immigrants trying to enter the US. And 50 per cent said Clinton has given false information about her personal health to the public, compared with 37 per cent who said the same of Trump. “Well, the secret is he has no plan”, Clinton said.
