Kevin De Bruyne on “another level”, just like Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City
Manchester City maintained their imperious start to the English Premier League season with a fifth straight victory on Saturday as Bournemouth were swept aside 4-0 to become the latest victims of Pep Guardiola’s table-toppers.

City has 15 goals in five league games so far, and started a second successive league campaign with five wins in a row.
Pep Guardiola, who has led Manchester City to an undefeated start in his first season at the helm, took notice of Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Chelsea on Friday.
He added: “It’s important we won a game after a Champions League game, it’s always tough. We are lucky to have him and I hope he can enjoy playing his awesome football with us”. He makes everything. Without the ball he is the first fighter and with the ball he’s clear.
“It wouldn’t be fair to say Jurgen is more emotional but when you see him on the sidelines living every minute, it’s not hard to understand why Dortmund were so successful under him”.
“My happiness does not depend on if I’m going to win all the titles or not”.
“It’s probably the best [coaching] team I have worked with and it doesn’t get mentioned a lot”.
“I’m a little bit surprised how much we are able to play some good level now”.
The Blues’ star striker Sergio Aguero will be available for the next league game but Guardiola has a problem of plenty on his hands, as City youngster Kelechi Iheanacho has filled Aguero’s space quite well. “Our plan wasn’t to sit as deep as we did first half but we ended up getting trapped with nowhere to go”.
“So overall I think we responded well”.
Howe said, “Fair play to them”. Not one of those sides finished the season as champions and none of them covered the kind of ground Guardiola expects his players to.
When asked if the dismissal had ruined the victory the City boss said: “It was the ref’s decision and we have to accept it”.
“Of course we are so happy, but it’s not enough and some movements in the high pressing [up to] half time were not good”.

“I think overall we had a convincing performance in two different situations”, Wenger said after the game. We have seen so many players playing in areas they are not used to.
