Brad Pitt got into an argument with his son Maddox last week on the family’s flight home from France according to a source close to the actor and his estranged wife Angelina Jolie, which led to her decision to file for divorce.

The source reportedly told authorities that Pitt began screaming and “getting physical” with his children on a private jet, possibly under the influence, and then continued ranting after the plane landed.
“LAPD is not handling any report of allegations of child abuse for Mr. Brad Pitt”, LAPD Officer Jenny Houser told CNN. The 52-year-old was allegedly verbally and physically abusive to his children while on a private jet September 14, and is reportedly being investigated by the LAPD and Child & Family Services about the incident.
People magazine confirms that the incident occurred last Wednesday and was reported by an anonymous individual on the tarmac. In her filing, she said she was ending the marriage due to Pitt’s “parenting of the children”. “It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light”.
Actress and TV personality Chelsea Handler has launched an attack on Angelina Jolie a day after news of the actress’ divorce made headlines. She does not want Pitt to have joint physical custody, only joint legal custody – the difference being only one parent has both physical and legal custody of the child: in this case, Jolie.
