Fresh on the heels of the Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt divorce news, Pitt is now under investigation for child abuse after an alleged incident on the couple’s private plane.

Sgt. Barry Montgomery later clarified to the Hollywood Reporter that, despite reports, no such investigation was now in progress.

“It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light”, the source adds. It’s been reported that they’ve been interviewed by the DCFS, but the department is coming back to interview the children.

The site also noted how Angelina is often spotted out with the help of a nanny or her ex-hubby Brad, but this time she was all alone, and apparently looking glum.

This would mean Jolie, 41, and Pitt, 52, separated the following day, and just a few days later, she filed for divorce.

Pitt and Jolie have six children, three of whom are adopted (Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11) and three biological (Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne).

“This is going to be my first and only reaction to the whirlwind news that broke 24 hours ago and that I was swept up into”, Cotillard, 40, wrote on her official account Wednesday.

Jolie filed for divorce Monday and cited irreconcilable differences.

Robert Offer, an attorney for the family, said Jolie’s decision was made “for the health of the family,” according to an Associated Press report.

The source also said that the father of six wanted to remain a “present father” for the brood.

TMZ reports that both Brad and Angelina have reportedly been interviewed by authorities already, and their kids will soon be questioned as well.

“A source with knowledge of the situation said Thursday: “[Brad] is taking this very seriously and he’s cooperated.
