Field Poll: Clinton’s Popularity Among Calif. Voters Slipping, Maintains Lead
This was only the latest dig on 68-year-old Clinton by Trump, who has repeatedly mocked his rival’s “stamina”, although he wished her well after she was diagnosed with pneumonia soon after the 9/11 commemoration ceremony. Libertarian Gary Johnson had 3% and Green Party’s Jill Stein had 1%.

On August 1, she led Trump by a 2.6 percent margin (41.4 percent to 38.8 percent) according to aggregate polling data from RealClearPolitics.
Trump, however, leads among men, 47 percent to 37 percent, and voters without a college education, 47 percent to 40 percent.
Monmouth pollster Patrick Murray notes Clinton’s increased leads in Wednesday’s polls comes after Trump, much to his own detriment, stole the spotlight back with his birther backtrack.
Clinton also has lost some support among female voters, though she’s still ahead with women by 22 points.
Both candidates have obtained consistently high negative ratings among this segment of the population, as just 36% view Trump favourably, and only 42% view Clinton favourably.
Voters broke almost evenly about which candidate would be better with economic issues and gave former Secretary of State Clinton the nod on handing foreign policy. “And by a similar 76-21 percent margin, voters, also including a large majority of Republicans, say that climate change is a significant threat to the planet rather than not real nor based on science”. “Every issue they care about is at stake in this election”.
Mr. Trump said that if he were fortunate enough to win the election in November, he would invite President el-Sisi on an official visit to the United States and would be honored to visit Egypt and the Egyptian people who he has a great fondness for.
Trump led in the two previous polls – by one percent in the Fox News Poll, and by 5 percent in the LA Times/USC poll. “However, a win here would make the path to 270 electoral votes that much easier for the victor and hard for the loser”.
“Hillary Clinton talks tougher about my supporters than she does Islamic terrorists, right?” Clinton, however, enjoys a comfortable lead in the national race.
In less than seven weeks, America will decide its next President.

Clinton’s campaign says the Democratic presidential candidate will use a speech in Orlando, Fla., today to “make the case for building an inclusive economy that welcomes people with disabilities, values their work, rewards them fairly, and treats them with respect”.
