McDonald’s has trumped its pumpkin spice latte, which it began prematurely pouring nearly a month ago, with a truly terrifying Hollyween treat: chocolate pumpkin French fries.

Residents in Japan will be lucky enough to enjoy the wonderful flavoring of pumpkin spice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The fries are the same basic ones we know and love, but the twist is that they’re drizzled with pumpkin and chocolate sauces. Hmm!

Do pumpkin chocolate fries sound like a spooky dream or a flavor-filled nightmare? The chain is introducing the new french fries after the success of its McChoco Potatoes released earlier this year.

Fans of McDonald’s french fries outside of Japan won’t be able to order the pumpkin chocolate french fries. You can’t be mad at them for this-by pushing the envelope McDonald’s Japan is only trying to make us better people. With Autumn comes the usual explosion of pumpkin spiced food and drinks, but this is a new one for us. Dipping french fries in this may result in a similar taste to the pumpkin chocolate french fries.

This Halloween themed food isn’t the first of its kind in Japan. It has not been announced that this menu item will return this year, but coupled with the fries, it could be the flawless Halloween fast food meal.
