Xiaomi’s invitation for the upcoming product launch event scheduled on Tuesday, Sept. 27.

A day after Xiaomi sent out invites for an event on September 27, where it expected to unveil the Mi 5s, rumours regarding the Mi Note 2 Pro have surfaced online.

Among the key features of the device are expected to be included a powerful Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.4 GHz, 5.5-inch display with 3D Touch and an impressive 6 GB RAM. As per AndroidPure, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Pro specs have been revealed by an “About Phone” leaked screenshot that also has other details about the phone. The mobile device is expected to come with 256 GB of internal storage.

It was previously rumored that the Mi 5S would have a circular home button, much like we see on the iPhones. And one new thing that’s being bandied about is that it might come with Qualcomm’s ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which sounds like a superpower but may be just a fancy way of saying you can unlock your phone and apps faster.

When a Chinese Social Media board asked Xiaomi about the Mi 5s, Xiaomi insisted that there was no Mi 5s, reports PhoneArena. One of the highly anticipated gadgets that is speculated to make an appearance is the long-rumored Xiaomi Mi Note 2. The Mi 5S will also offer a 3490mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support, USB Type-C port, NFC, and all the latest connectivity features.

Rumors said Xiaomi’s new phablet will have a 5.7-inch display with fullHD and QHD variants. On top of Android 7.0 Nougat will be Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 OS, MIUI v8.6.9.8, as reported by Android Headlines. The battery could also be a bit bigger (4,000 mAh); but for now, none of the specs stated above are official.
