Clinton leads in poll as debate looms
Four-way races which list both presidential and vice-presidential candidates show Trump topping Clinton 50 – 44 percent.

Yeah, she thinks the race is close because people don’t know enough about Donald Trump’s record. He will, however, be keenly aware of the ruckus that was triggered by his NBC colleague, Matt Lauer, who was widely seen to have allowed Mr Trump to lie unfettered during a forum about national security in NY two weeks ago.
The numbers in the three true swing states – Georgia isn’t and never will be a swing state; not sure why that one was even polled in conjunction with this, to be honest – do reflect movement toward Trump. Trump has five events Thursday in Pennsylvania and will campaign through Saturday, leaving little time for debate prep.
“He’s a formidable, well-prepared candidate with a formidable, well-prepared team”, said Navarro, a professor at the University of California, Irvine.
Some Trump aides are more concerned about Trump’s disposition on the debate stage than his command of the issues.
“To the African-American community, I say vote for Donald J. Trump”.
A pivotal moment in the 2012 campaign came when CNN’s Candy Crowley, who was the moderator in one of the debates, contradicted Mitt Romney, the Republican nominee, when he asserted that President Barack Obama had not referred to what had happened in Benghazi, Libya, a few weeks earlier as terror attacks. Since then, he has steadily climbed back, thanks in part to undecided voters coming on board and thanks in part to Clinton’s support fading a bit. According to a new AP-GfK poll, just 30 percent of registered voters say they consider Trump at least somewhat qualified to be president. “It’s pretty clear that being off the campaign trail for much of August did not do her campaign any favors”.
Clinton has said she’s been “doing her homework”. “Clearly his advisers agree that that is not a very presidential image”.
Sam Stovall, chief USA equity strategist at S&P Global Market Intelligence, said the debate could matter for markets.
Voters also said they cared less about Clinton’s recent health issues than Trump’s taxes and cited the real estate mogul’s rhetoric toward women, immigrants and Muslims; his temperament; Clinton’s private server during her tenure as Secretary of State and her judgement in Syria, Iraq and Libya as their top concerns. It’s preparing for the “different Trumps” that might show up, she said, referring to whether the Republican nominee will be laid-back or aggressive. Trump spoke Thursday in a telephone interview on “Fox and Friends”. “You look at what’s going on with Libya, and you look at the surge, and you look at all of her decisions”, he said. “And I think that’s meant to make up for questions that he can get that can be hard for him to answer”, Palmieri said.
She said the country needs strength, love and kindness and that “we are safer when communities respect police and police respect communities”.
“Where is Hillary today?” he asked.
How long will it last, and what are they debating?

In her speech, Clinton briefly touched on some of her proposals, which include getting rid of the sub-minimum wage for people with disabilities and building the support needed in Congress for the U.S.to join the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
