Federal Bureau of Investigation says it’s evaluating Brad Pitt abuse allegations
On Thursday (local time), the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said it was not investigating Brad Pitt over the allegations, despite TMZ reports.

The source claims the incident prompted Angelina Jolie to separate from her husband and file for divorce within days.
Sources dished to TMZ that the 52-year-old actor is now under investigation by the LAPD and the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services after allegedly getting verbally abusive and a bit physical with his kids. Pitt’s representative has not responded to Romper’s request for comment. Witnesses say Pitt “continued his rant on the tarmac, and even tried leaving in one of the fuel trucks”, TMZ reported.
Sources claim Pitt, Jolie and their children were on board a flight last Wednesday when Pitt “got wasted”, “went wild”, and started screaming and “getting physical” with the children, TMZ reports.
“He takes this very seriously and is fully cooperating”, a source close to Pitt, who was not authorized to speak publicly, told USA TODAY.
“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids”, Pitt said earlier this week. It’s unfortunate that people involved are continuing to present him in the worst possible light.
In the statement, the Federal Bureau of Investigation said allegations involving an “aircraft carrying Mr Brad Pitt and his children” had been referred to it.
Previously, an LAPD spokesperson told People it was not now “handling any report or allegations into child abuse against Brad Pitt”, but the publication’s source claims the investigation is indeed ongoing. Even during what looks to be a contentious divorce, “he’ll always do whatever is best for his kids”, says the source.

Armand Montiel, a spokesperson for Los Angeles County Children and Family Services, told CNN that “DCFS is not allowed to confirm or deny any subject of allegations”.
