Hillary Clinton endured some pretty ridiculous questions and a few insults during her appearance on Zach Galifianakis’ spoof talk show, Between Two Ferns, which was released Thursday, September 22, on amusing or Die. She was also asked what it would mean to become the first white president for the younger generation.
When Clinton begins speaking on her economic policy, Galifianakis suddenly throws it to commercial, which just so happens to be a Trump campaign ad.
The faux interview ended with one final, uncomfortable question, which referenced the email scandal that has long dogged Hillary Clinton’s campaign. After Hillary expressed surprise, he added: “Yeah, because for Halloween, I wanted to go as a librarian from outer space”.
Thursday’s show featured the Democratic presidential nominee playing along with Galifianakis as he continually asked irreverent and sometimes offensive questions.
“I assume he’ll wear that red power tie”, Clinton guessed.
One of the funniest digital series on the internet right now has been Funny Or Die’s Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis.
“Or, maybe like a white power tie?” asks Galifianakis, to which Clinton quickly responds, “That’s even more appropriate”.
According to the show’s executive producer, it was Clinton herself who had the idea to do the show, and the episode was mostly improvised. And whether Obama liked his coffee, “like himself weak?”
Clinton stared at him and didn’t respond.
