4 siblings killed, mother critically injured in Dearborn Heights attack
Amy Lange of Fox 2 reports that Green served 16 years in prison after pleading no contest to killing his then wife in 1991, who was six months pregnant. After both incidents, Green called 911, told police he committed the crimes and turned himself over to authorities without a fight.

Michigan Department of Corrections spokesman Chris Gautz told The Associated Press that Gregory Green was denied parole four times before being released in 2008.
Green fatally stabbed his pregnant wife, Tonya Green, in 1991. Police didn’t release the age of the wounded woman, who was listed in critical condition. A judge rejected the 2013 protection order request, and the divorce request that same year was dismissed.
After the arrest, police went into the home and discovered Green’s 39-year-old wife, Faith, in the basement of the home, bound with duct tape and zip ties.
She had filed for divorce in August.
Court records reviewed by The Associated Press show Faith Green filed for divorce in August, citing a breakdown in the marriage relationship. Her divorce lawyer, Harvey Beck, spoke briefly with the AP, calling the deaths a bad situation, but declining further comment. The suspect’s wife is hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, Petri says.
Two girls, just 4 and 6 years old, were found dead due to an apparent carbon monoxide poisoning in a vehicle, and two teenagers were found shot to death in the basement.
“The alleged evidence in this case will show an appalling level of domestic violence that was cataclysmic”, prosecutor Kym Worthy said in a statement.
The two teens are the woman’s children from a previous relationship, but the young boy and girl were his biological children, Krause said.
By Thursday, a makeshift memorial containing dozens of stuffed animals, flowers and cards lined the walkway leading up to the family’s home on Hipp Street, just north of Annapolis Street.
Police are continuing to investigate a motive, but Krause said police believe the killings stem from some sort of marital discord. Cops also found a 17 year old girl and a 19 year old male fatally shot.
“The four individuals were found by responding officers deceased at the residence”, Petri said.
Citing an ongoing investigation, Dearborn Heights police remained tight-lipped at a news conference Wednesday.
The item has been corrected to show that one of the victims was 5, not 6.
WJBK reports officers found the body of four children.
Neighbors said the family moved to the community around three years ago.

“They were always outside playing with the dog; they just got the puppy last Christmas”, said Amy Penk, who lives just steps away from the home.
